Pine Mtn flying

john, Ian and I are going to meet at the Y at 1100 to asses the real time situation and most likely hike up to the west hang launch. If anyone else wants to join in, come on out

It was a good flying day at Pine. We were able to chain up and drive to the summit. We all took two flights. There was a little ridge lift and some decent thermals. I think my best was around 1500 over,couldn't quite get to cloudbase.  We are thinking of flying Pine again tomorrow, if the forecast holds up. Will post in the morning after 0900.

Tim you must have the Mantra back, nice....what a strange season.
Business as usual at the dumps on the right days this place is every
bit as good as Torrey pines 3 hour flight , witnessed one guy auger
in early on, and two more mid air it while scratching off launch, no
one hurt seriously, but this spot can get busy, fire dept high angle
rescue all that stuff, crazy day.
