John Day Basin Resource Management Plan

I talked to a BLM planner this morning and he told me about the John
Day Basin Resource Management Plan which is currently under
development. Here's a link to relevant Web page.

He also said that if we have any potential flying sites on BLM land in
the John Day area this would be the appropriate time to submit
comments on the draft plan in order to get them included. Does anyone
have any ideas for paragliding and hang gliding sites on BLM land in
the John Day area?

I've done a little flying and scouting in the Sutton Mt. area. I'll
put together some notes and read the management plan baseline. I'm
also a land owner within the management area, so we can play that card
if politically desireable.
