So after the last meeting Eric reccomended the Urbandale Public Library. I didn't know what to expect and googled it and... wow. Take a look at this

Assuming we can get a room & necessary equipment reserved this may be an ideal place to hold Cocoaheads meetings. Has anybody been in any of these rooms & have an opinion on them? Thanks!

The Des Moines Capital Striders hold their meetings there. Very nice
rooms, reasonably fast internet. $100 deposit for the projector
though...

Reserve your room early though. They are quite popular.

Assuming their rules allow for it, would we be able to check out projects from ISU and use those?

I've used these rooms several times, and they are great. Quiet,
clean, decent wi-fi. No experience with projector though.

Is anybody able to check out decent/good projectors out from say ISU or anywhere else and bring them here? I don't know if we'll do that all the time, but at least for the next meeting it may save us a bunch of hassle as someone has to have a urbandale public library card and I don't know when I'll get a chance to go down there and do it.

If someone has the mini display port to VGA adapter, then I have a projector I could bring.
