Morning,

I am interested in possibly joining your group. I am interested in Electronics, Programming and Woodwork. If I wanted to drop in next Tuesday what would I need to bring along if anything and what happens on a typical evening?

Do people simply come along and work on their own projects or are group projects organised?

I am interested in meeting like minded people and helping out on projects and especially learning new skills.

I look forward to hearing back and meet everyone next Tuesday.

Hi Paul,

I'm sure some of our other members will be answering this e-mail, but I'll start the ball rolling.
You'll find good company in your interested at Derby Makers- if you feel like coming along, you can bring whatever you feel like, there's generally a few individual projects going along with some group efforts. Next tuesday we will be carrying on with some group projects - one is more over the crafts side  (making bunting) and one towards the electronics (making some GPS assisted lights for an art installation) - so if you wanted to drop in to either of those you'd be equally welcome.
We do run workshops as well but as far as I'm aware (our Events Coordinator Emma will be able to confirm this) we don't have one booked for the 28th.

Looking forward to seeing you- just roll up to the Silk Mill front door and there will be someone to let you in and show you around!

Hi Paul,
you will be made very welcome.
The format allows you to do what suits you on the day.
 
There are some group activities planned but if the particular activity isn't your thing then you can do something else.
We'll often bring in home projects for comments and advice and there are always people around happy to help...... and eager to learn.
