Came across an icing technique which I thought I would share with the group.
Usually one uses a commercial icepack or a homemade one (water + salt in a ziplock bag) or ice in a cloth. I came across a technique which is to wet a towel, wring out the excess water, fold it and then place it in the freezer compartment of your fridge for an hour or so. Take it out unfold (you may have to apply some force if the water has completely frozen) and just wrap it around the area you need to be iced. The towel remain cool for long, and wraps around the area completely and snugly. Really saves the pain of holding ice in your hand against an inflamed area in an awkward position.
Cheers
Sandeep
