Urgent opportunity: A&O Network scholarships available for CFED's Assets Learning Conference

Hello all, 

I was just notified of a scholarship opportunity through our role as Lead Local Organization in the Assets & Opportunities Network for a DelcoAD partner to attend CFED's Assets Learning Conference this September 19-21.  Information on the conference can be found below or through this link.  

Each $1,000-scholarship covers three nights at the conference hotel (worth $750) and a $250-discount off the $600 cost of registration. Scholarship recipients are responsible for paying the special discounted registration fee of $350 and covering travel costs to and from the conference.

The deadline for this opportunity is this Friday, June 29th.  Please get back to me as soon as possible if you are interested in attending on our A&O Network scholarship.

Information on the conference:

As you know, the biennial Assets Learning Conference (ALC)—held September 19-21 in Washington, DC—will bring together more than 1,000 leaders in the assets field and be the venue for the official launch of the Assets & Opportunity Network. We intend for the A&O Network and the ALC to be mutually reinforcing—the ALC gives Network members the opportunity to meet face-to-face, learn from each other, and build the excitement and energy of the assets movement; the Network is the mechanism to carry forward lessons and connections from the ALC and keep the momentum going for the other 362 days a year! There will be a special Network Leadership meeting on September 19, and a host of sessions designed for Network Lead Organizations and General Members alike, including an Advocates College and concurrent sessions on innovative approaches to policy and practice.
