Mike Frankovitch vs. Sybil Danning

There is some stuff on the internet talking about the behind the scenes
conflicts of the movie based on a comic book called Black Diamond which
was never made.

I own the five comic books in that series and all I can say is the best
thing about them were the pictures of Sybil Danning is issues 1,2, and
5.

As for the comic itself the artwork was not very good and the
storylines were sketchy at best.

It would have been an interesting movie had it been made, but if it was
dependent upon comic book sales then it did not have a very good chance.

This guy claims that Mike Frankovithc tried to replace Sybil with some
actress that no one has ever heard of. The reasoning sounded stupid
since right on the comic book it says, "Sybil Danning is Black Diamond"
