Is there a way to change the computer's level of play?

Yes, here's how you change play level:

- Go to Game Info by tapping the "i" button in the toolbar
- Tap the Deep Green player in the Players section
- Tap the blue (>) chevron button to configure the engine
- Drag the slider to a suitable level

At the lower levels, Deep Green won't play with full concentration.
This means it will play more like a human and make mistakes from time
to time.

Joachim

I have to admit I hadn't found this either, and had assumed it
couldn't be changed (yet). After looking again I'm seeing that the
breakout arrows under 'players' in game info view suggest the ability
to change who plays, not how.

Apple's Standard Human Interface Guidelines for the iPhone suggest
that the gray Disclosure Indicator is used to reveal a new level of
information in a hierarchy or the choices associated with the item. In
this case, it's used for the latter where you can select the type of
player (currently either human or Deep Green).

Once on this level, you'll see the blue chevron button, the Detail
Disclosure Button, that indicates that you can see – and configure –
detailed information about the item. So for a human player, you can
edit the name, and for a Deep Green player you can adjust the
strength.

This is how Apple uses these elements in its application, and this is
what I've tried to do as well.

I think that a lot of people will have a problem finding this setting.
Even though you follow the guide lines and try to keep the interface
simple, and it looks beautiful, the interface becomes very cryptic,
and users my have a hard time deciphering it.
