Good News Keeps Rolling In!

I have been much busier than a bee ( I think), and I have many good things to share.
Neal will be back in Santa Cruz on March 18, just in time to finish helping me move out, and to help the friends with the mudding, painting and flooring projects on the inside of the house before the renter takes over April 1.
I am seeking funding from credit unions and other sources ( thanks Dani!)
I am proceeding with my fail safe plan to work as a nurse for 13 weeks to build up a nice nest egg before heading south. I have the Advanced Enrichment program scheduled in Costa Rica for June 22-July 3, and I am adding a medical spanish class to this! I have attached the flyer for this class, Gargi did a fantastic job!
My parents donated a 1990 4x4 Ford Truck to our cause, and so it looks like Neal and Jad, and anyone else will be driving down in
April! WE will fix our 1992 four runner, so we will have a work truck and a passenger vehicle, all 4x4 in costa rica soon.
The negotiations are complete for the road work, and that is scheduled to proceed as soon as there are a few dry days in a row. Neal says,"los montanas tiennes sombrero" or the mountains are wearing a hat, meaning despite dry weather in the flats, the rain continues in our rain forest!
The ability to drive vehicles down there will help solve the "how do you get it into the country" question for many of our items... If you are ready for an adventure and want to join the caravan ( passengers & alternate drivers are an option) Get your passport and call or email me.
definately let us know when you plan to visit, we want to make sure someown is there to guide you around.
WE now have running water in the house, and an ever expanding garden and orchard area. Some basic layout design is ready, and the neighbor has already come by and offered to sell us more land! Our American real estate agent just got to see the property and she said,"Deepa, this finca is beautiful beyond words". That felt really good, as she has been a real estate agent in costa rica for over 20 years!

The costa rican cell phone does work now, and the number was correct. There still seems to be some trouble getting the voice mail, one step at a time i guess.
