Help problem with rJava

I tried to install Deducer as shown on the website and it generates the message in the attach. Anybody knows can happen?

install java on your computer and restart. If it is already installed re-install it.

I'm having the same issue. I've installed Deducer successfully previously but on a new laptop with W8, I've installed Java several times, have tried to install JGR and while the JGR desktop icon appears, nothing happens when I click on it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks, Ken

Make sure your version (32 vs 64-bit)of Java matches the version of R you are using.  I don't remember what I did to fix it, but I'm pretty sure this is what is came down to.  

http://java.com/en/download/manual.jsp has both 32-bit and 64-bit versions. They can coexist side-by-side, so I think I just installed the 64-bit version and that cleaned it up.
