Hello,
IxDS is working on a custom version of the Android UI and you could be the one to implement it!
Work side by side with our designers to bring a unique experience and ambitious technology to the phone.
We, the IxDS-Interaction Design Studios, are looking for an experienced Android developer to work with us on a special-purpose Android version. For our client, we develop innovative concepts and tailor designs for an executive phone. The implications of our concepts range from mostly visual tuning to Android core parts (somewhere between a theming and a mod).
More concretely, the tasks include 2-3 widgets, some changes to the notification system, changes to the lockscreen, and transitions between various states.
Most of the design is finished and described so that you can start right away. Some parts need to be worked on in close cooperation between you and our designers. For this reason, we need you working at our office in Berlin Mitte.
Timeframe for this phase is "now" until end of June.
