哪些移动硬盘不能被 Linux 识别？

　　从 Windows 98 第二版开始，Windows 系统就对 "USB Mass Storage" 提供了
良好的支持，如 USB 接口的闪存盘、移动硬盘等。按理来说，USB 外部存储设备
都使用通用的驱动，不存在不支持的问题. Windows 如此，Linux 亦如此。我手上
的 USB 存储设备也都能在 Debian 下使用。可我在一些论坛里发现有些人在问某
某移动硬盘在 Linux 下不能被识别的问题。难道真的如此吗？如果真的如此，那
么日后再买这类设备的时候岂不是先要了解一下它对 Linux 的支持情况？而且要
分硬盘以及硬盘盒来讨论？

　　具体是怎样？怎么判别是否采用了扩容技术？

我见到的主要是针对U盘，对于2.5英寸的笔记本硬盘，还没有遇到过。

那得看内核有没有支持，如果没有，应该是需要打补丁。记得内核里有相应加载项的，基本上硬盘都是支持的
