Ahhh . . . I'm so confused . . . do I get the WLX-651 or 652?

Hi guys,
I've read. I've read and I've read . . . but still I am no closer to
deciding.
Are these the same unit with different firmware or are there in fact
physical differences between the two?
Can a usb hub be attached to increase support to 4 devices (651
suggests so but 652 is unclear on this point).
Does the Snake software include printer support, or do I lose printer
support when I upgrade to Snake?
Basically, all I want to do is add a couple of printers and an
external hard drive into my home LAN.
The rest (BT downloading etc) would be nice if one unit included
everything.
Or will the 652 do everything when you upgrade to Snake?
Some posts that I've read say make sure you get the WLX-652 and not
the 651!
Can anyone give me a straight answer. Pretty please?
Thanks,
Rev

Summing it up:

WLX651 is a USB network sharing device. One windows computer at a time can connect to a peripheral, using a client driver.

WLX652 is a very small "computer", you can use a hub to increase devices number. Your printers should be compatible with it, generally speaking, but is hard to tell unless someone have tested it. On storage side, you can share and access disks simultaneously on different computers on your network.

Thanks for the reply.
On this basis I think the 652 would be the better option, or least it
would give me more options to play with?
I assume that I should load it with the Snake OS before putting it to
work which as I understand it will give me the same features but added
functionality?
For the money, I guess if it doesn't work I haven't lost much. Maybe I
should get one of each - a 651 and a 652 - and see how they compare
them?
Can anyone else offer any advice?

@Revhead:

I think that the 651 device is very specific, and usually a waste of money.

About the firmware, you can test it with the stock one first, to see if it will fulfill your needs. The current Snake OS have problems on compatibility with some foreign characters (Japanese, Chinese, etc)

Just to report.
I bought the 652 and it is now running fine with SNAKE OS V1.0.0
(20091027)
I have connected a USB hub and am now running two USB drives (one for
swap and the the other has my shared Outlook PST file). Also connected
2 x eternal hard drives and 2 x printers (Brother MFC 9180 and Canon
i350). Both printers now working but I have noticed the 652 assigns
both the same 9100 TCP port, even though it says in the manual you can
assign a different port.
For anyone trying to get printers working there's a bit of a trick to
it. You have to follow the instructions for installing in the user
manual available here. And I also had to update to a later driver for
the Brother:
