Unable to copy large files

Hi all,
Sorry for the rookie question - need help on how to research or to
resolve my issue with my unit - it's running Snake v1.0.0 and has been
super stable for the longest time.

However, over the last while, i've been unable to file transfer (ie:
Via mapped network drive) any files of any size (even mp3!). Not a
huge deal, as I was able to FTP the unit and get excellent speeds, and
file resume if necessary.

Now I'm unable to do that even - every transfer times out.

Swapfile is active, while a file has stalled, it shows 95% CPU, 3%
swap and 4% RAM utilized.

I've tried searching but to no avail...any thoughts out there to help
me out?

Do you use NTFS and/or wifi to access the nas?

Try with another hard drive.  And using ehernet cable if you are using wifi.  Also problems arise with big files and fat32,  so if you could use EXT3 to format the drive it will work better.

Since i bought the K330, I was unable to download files from it. I
tried to use a flash drive formatted to EXT3 and still not downloading
at a good speed. Oddly, on the day I decided to upgrade its firmware
to that unnoficial version, it began to let me download! Then, I
flashed the new firmware and the download became faster.

So, my suggestion is to upgrade to the new official firmware or the
newest unnoficial firmware. You choose.
