Barcelona: 500 Mill.
Real Madrid: 500 Mill.
FC Chelsea: 300 Mill.
FC Bayern: 100 Mill.

Funny :)

Why didn't you post about Messi's new scoring record this week?

Because I don't care what he does against weak opponents.
BTW, WC2012: Argentina - Germany 0 - 4 with Messi.

No, it's not, as Dortmund has the same budget. Bayern, on the other
hand has only 7% of the budget of the other three, nevertheless they
will win the thing, deservedly.
You heard it here first.

I never said he is bad. I have seen WC2010 Argentina Germany several
times. There was nothing to write home about.
How can you even dare to call him one of the greatest while there are
Puskas, Pele, Müller etc...

Bayen budget is at least 3 times that.

What is so significant about that match today, the fourth of May, 2012?

He is one of the greatest, not the greatest though... he is the best player
playing right now, there's nothing even Pele can do about it!!!

No, he is not one of the greatest. Like Gaynaldo he is constantly
choking in very important matches, especially in the NT.

Well I respect your opinion, and time is on his side, in the very least, he
is the greatest scoring player at the top level in European history for a
single season now, just another record he holds... he is one of the greatest
players in history, lets say for argument sake, in the top 25 in the very
least, he's only going to get greater as each season passes...

I cant stand him though, purely as a result of the heartache he has caused,
but I'd hate to say it, he's a pleasure to watch!!!

I think you are hearing voices. The numbers are way off reality, for all
clubs mentioned.

So your turnover is 3 times your budget? What will you do with that 200m
profit? ;)

I assume, for financial reasons, Bayern will lose the final.
Apparently Neuer and Gustavo have clauses in their contracts that
would make Bayern pay 9 mil to Hoff and Schalke (forget what the
breakdown is?) if they win the Champions league. If they finish second
they get to keep the 5.6 mil they get for second. So Bayern, which has
always prided itself on good financial management, will surely do the
financially proper thing.

In related news, the painting "the Scream" ( You know the one that
looks like the kid from the Home Alone movies) has just sold for 150
mil.

Quincy is the German LoW. More interested in taunting and show boating
than general dialogue. But a lot of people still getting baited by him.

<evil grin>

Actually I don't really get this. We have a turnover of ca 300 M, but
the club budget isn't in the vicinity of this. How much are we (still)
paying for the stadium?

Also, I don't see a 500M budget for Barca, as they are behind both us
and Real for turnover (IIRC).

No. They are only behind RM in turnover. Man Utd are ahead of Bayern as
well.

I think two things happened here:

1) Different kinds of budgets were mixed up (Bayern's 100m would be a
wage budget, the numbers for the other clubs total budget. Bayern's
total budget would be in the 300m range was well)
2) The OP made the numbers up anyway, they are ballpark figures at best.
