Hallo,

nach dem Umstieg von einem normalen T-DSL-Anschluss (768 down / 128 up) auf
T-DSL Business (1000 down / 256 up) konnte ich am Linux-Router keine
Geschwindigkeitssteigerung messen.

Das komische ist aber, dass sich mit einem direkt an das DSL-Modem angeschlossenen
Laptop (Windows XP) eine Transferrate von 100kByte/s down bzw. 25kByte/s up
messen ließ. Was für mich heißt, dass es nicht an der Leitung liegt.

Die auf dem Router verwendete Software:

rp-pppoe: Roaring Penguin PPPoE Version 3.5
pppd: pppd version 2.4.1
Arno's IPTables Firewall V1.7.1BETA-2 (mit Shaping auf 256 up bzw. auch ohne
Shaping getestet)

Was mich verwundert ist die Tatsache, dass die gemessenen Transferraten am
Linuxrouter ziemlich genau dem Standardanschluss 768/128 entsprechen.

Ist beim pppoe ein Flag zu setzen, damit schnellere Modi unterstützt werden?
An was könnte so ein Verhalten liegen?
