Ich benutze fuer die DSL-Einwahl pppoe(4) unter OpenBSD 5.2:

Frage: Gibt es mit pppoe(4) so etwas wie "pppoe -A" unter
Linux (Abfrage des Access Concentrators)? TIA.

Mit dem Schalter "debug" in der /etc/hostname.pppoe0 (s. o. bei
der Ausgabe von ifconfig unter "flags") kann ich die Einwahl
ueber /var/log/messages nachvollziehen; dabei wird an einer Stel-
le auch der Name des AC (hier: BONR72-se800) genannt.
