        Ahmet Cakir <ah...@cakir.de>

Dear Colleague

The program of  WWDU 2002 – World Wide Work is completed. We are excited
to be addressing
many cutting edge developments in human work supported by information
and communication
technologies. This conference will provide a unique opportunity to meet
with international
colleagues from all five continents and to discuss issues related to
shaping future work and
workplaces. Since at least some part of work in future industries will
be performed in virtual
space, three sessions of WWDU 2002 will demonstrate interactions between
participants in
Berchtesgaden and somewhere else in the world. The speakers of these
sessions have
organized at least one virtual event in the past, and they will present
their experience on a
virtual platform to those present in Berchtesgaden or elsewhere in the
world between Hong
Kong and Philadelphia. One of the most recent facets of work
organization, the “Call Center”
will be presented on two “real” sessions and virtually through
interaction with a parallel virtual
conference on this type of work.

For your convenience, the program with more than 260 papers, panels and
tutorials is included
as text. For more information, please click on http://www.wwdu.org/2002.
For direct mails to
the Conference Secretariat, please use this address (also if you would
like to become a remote
participant): gisela.ca...@ergonomic.de

You are cordially invited to share this conference and to help making it
to a major milestone in
the development of human work.

Best regards
Dr. Ahmet E. Cakir
