Allied in Pride (the GWU LGBT org that I'm president of) is partnering
with 17 other student organizations this year to plan activities for
World AIDS Day.
One of our events is "20 minute karma", an event where GWU community
members can stop by the student center and participate in a variety
of community service projects/letter writing campaigns, receive
safe-sex materials, and (hopefully) grab some free food.
If you're involved with an organization that has community service
projects/actions/letter writing campaigns that we can do on campus
please e-mail me.
Our coalition is comprised of 18 diverse student organizations from
religious groups to fraternities. A full list is included at the end
of the e-mail.
