Exon array - not reading CHP file

Hi...I'm relatively new to running exon array analysis and have been
having trouble getting things to work. I ran the raw data through Affy
Expression Console and did exon level RMA sketch (all), and the
program wrote the CHP files. However, when I tried to open them in
dChip it gave me a red text error message: File doesn't exist, or Affy
codes failed to read CHP file C:\...

I checked the directory and it is indeed trying to recognize the
proper file name in the proper location, so I assume the problem is
with the CHP file itself. Am I doing something wrong, like using the
wrong format when I make this file? I can't figure out how to get it
to work.

Amy,

dChip cannot read CHP files for exon arrays. Would you be able to export an
external data file from AEC and analyze in dChip?

What kind of external data file? I've tried just using the CEL files
but it doesn't read in any expression data and I can't seem to get
anything useful out of it.
