Just to clarify, this is a meeting of the Living Wages, Healthy
Communities coalition,
made up of workers' rights, environmental, faith, and neighborhood
groups from across the city. This coalition's position is that each of
the four
communities should get to choose whether they want a Walmart and
devise a strategy from there.
Citywide Walmart Development Coalition Meeting:
Date & Time: Dec. 14th at 6:30pm
Location: Israel Baptist Church
1251 Saratoga Avenue NE.
b/w Rhode Island Ave and Brentwood Rd
(near Rhode Island Metro Station)
