Agile Design: focus of next DCamp or something completely different?

There was a lot of interest expressed in having a full day unconference
on agile design after the session we had at the first DCamp. Luke
Hohmann made a good point that it would be important to have product
management as well as design (this includes usability in my view of
things) and engineering disciplines represented. One way to do this
would be to think of the product managment function as primarily
focused on "defining" requirements and then we can stick with the DCamp
metaphor by extending it to define/design/develop. Realistically, I
don't see this happening as a completely new separate activity. At
least, I personally do not have the energy to try and make that happen.
I can easily see it happening by building on the momentum of the first
DCamp as another DCamp event that had a tighter focus on the agile
definition/design/development of products. What do others think?

I think this would be great. Having come from a design and
development world and moving specifically into product management (as
my primary job right now), I would be totally into extending DCamp to
include "defining". Is anyone else interested, too? Or have
colleagues they could bring into the mix?

I think this is a really good idea. TagCamp that I had attended in
November was similarly focused around a topic, and worked quite well.
There were some working sessions devoted to specific topics.

DCamp focused on Agile design/development could have something similar.

excellent idea Van.  FYI, I forwarded the thread to Luke Hohmann and Scott Gilbert and encouraged them to join in on the discussion ;-)
