Bush kicked Gore's ass. Big time.
The socialist scat spewing sophists
are going to have a tough time spinning

I'm looking forward to the 'tard turds
that will be posted AFTER the Demonkrats
get their marching orders from the media...

Now you're not going to slip up in front of us all, are you?

Last night was a draw. I found it disappointing; it was mainly
maneuver, little striking at each other. It was a draw like the
VP debate, even closer than that VP debate. Unlike the superior
performance of Cheney over Poor Figurehead Joe, I gave Gore the
style edge over Bush last night -- this time the Gore won on style.
He corrected nearly all of his poor behavior in debate #1 that made
Bush's victory clear. In debate #2, Bush retained his superiority
over Gore on substance, but that wasn't enough. Bush can't afford
to sit back and do nothing. Gore has the media on his side, so is
going to have the initiative and perceived advantage in the campaign
by default if Bush does nothing. Both people stumbled last night
at times, and Gore's Ronnie Reagan makeup job was a joke, but Gore
was smoother in delivery than Bush.

First Presidential debate was a Bush victory, and the second was
a tie. (Having them behave so similarly and differ mainly by a red
vs. a blue tie was dull, very dull.) This is a half-step down for
Bush, a half-step up for Gore, and I felt Gore had the edge on style,
so that doesn't look good for Bush. It's still essentially an even
race, but Bush has to take stronger action or he's in big trouble.

I remember reading one or two conservative columns after debate #1,
and while Bush's victory was so clear it was surprising, still Bush
did far less than he should, and "We've Been Waiting" for him to be
much more forceful. (He can devastate Gore on China corruption and
treason, other corruption in the Clinton-Gore administration, the
worst in our history, and ineptitude both in foreign policy and also
domestically, among higher-quality voters.) The overall campaign on
both sides has been defensive (waiting for the other guy to make a
mistake, then attack it) and perhaps this debate #2 was also that way
not only in Gore's correcting his behavior, but overall in waiting
to attack a mistake the other person makes. But also, it's possible
strategy by Gore to hold back and put more pressure on Bush in the
third debate, and I felt this would have been reduced had Bush been
more forceful, and it looked bad for Bush to refrain from hitting Gore
hard.
