W&OD Parking Question

Hi,

I'm interested in parking off of Cochran Mill Road to enter the W&OD trail
at mile post 30.5. Does anyone know if parking is available here. Is
parking permitted on the shoulder of Cochran Mill Road? Is there a lot
nearby?

There is not any real parking near this location. I have seen a car or
two parked on the side of the road near the trail crossing but that is
about it. Your best alternative would probably be the lot at Ashburn
Road just a few miles east. Here is a page with parking along the trail:
