Subject: Stronger default passwords

Hi all

Working on something where we need to impose a strong password policy but still reuse standard django users app.

Anyone done anything like this? Google seems to throw up a number of options but no one true way to do it seems.

Cheers,
Dan

We just have a 'check_password_strength' helper that we use as part of
the registration form / password reset form validation.

cheers,

Jim

django-allauth uses an fairly nice method where they define a custom password
form field<https://github.com/pennersr/django-allauth/blob/master/allauth/accoun...>
with
a minimum length. That could be a good starting point. Maybe it would be
best to suggest to your users to enter a
passphrase<http://preshing.com/20110811/xkcd-password-generator>instead
of a password?
