Subject: UWE Event

Hi,

Lyle Hopkins is organising an event at UWE designed to bring local technical users' groups and companies together with students, to try to engage and spark their interest in the various technologies being used by folks around Bristol. Lyle's own description:

"All of the major IT & Developer community groups in and around Bristol are coming together for an event at the UWE. Essentially the event is one big meetup, open to the public. Each group will be doing a presentation on themselves, what they are about, and what they offer the local community. Several groups will be putting on a technical presentation in their chosen area. How-to workshops will be running alongside the main presentations. The event concludes with 5 minute lightening talks on a variety of subjects"

This is a great opportunity both to talk about Django, and about your companies. It's tentatively scheduled for the 19th May.

Is anybody interested in running a workshop, or doing a technical presentation? Anyone want to do the main one? :)

Cheers,
Dan
