how is the text classified as "word"? i have a field name called
"cust_name" and after generation it became "cuSTnAme"

A good starting point is the src/DbLinq/Schema/ directory.

Or just use /culture=IVL switch with DbMetal, this way it does not try to parse words.

i get a "Culture name 'ivl' not supported" error

It was working (I wrote it). Try "IVL" (uppercase).

(and, yes I'm registered to the shortest message contest :)).

i tried this: "DbMetal /culture:IVL" along with the other parameters..
or was I doing it wrong?

there maybe are changes in DBMetal, anyway i'll check the schema
