A real example: Use entrance for software development report
I know I don't write much, even though I read every email coming through this group. Well, hopefully, this makes up a bit: [link]

Select rows for deletion in tables?
In many other db browsers, there is a checkbox for each row that allows me to click it and operate on this record. Is there way, when viewing tables, to make selected rows for an operation - specifically delete? Thanks!

PLOT Documentation
There is new PLOT documenation here: [link] (The same PLOT syntax is supported by all the different Entrance versions, which means you can write a script using Entrance Community or Entrance IDE and deploy it using Plot or EntranceServlet) - Tod

Fwd: Another question about shared servers
This tool looks very nice and I am interested in including it in an analytics package I am preparing for a client. I'm trying to figure out if I can install it on a linux server and make API calls to generate charts and tables that will be displayed on a web page. What are the licensing issues that might be involved here? Can it be used... more »

Can I put entrance on shared server and make charts available to all users?

Fwd: The nice thing about Entrance...
Nice compliment attached... - Tod [clip] The nice thing about Entrance over typical query tools is that you can directly map queries to charts. You can also browse data using a pivot table. I think the tool has great potential for hashing out requirements for dwh design, and also for basic profiling.... more »

Fwd: Problems encountered & feedback about UI design flaws
Hi Tod, My apologies for not getting back to you sooner. I managed to get Entrance running when you sent me the trial key, but I couldn't get it to produce the kind of report-quality output I was looking for. The learning curve was also a little steeper than I was hoping for. As I used the application for the first time, I made notes on the... more »

Trial version is timed out?
Just received this: I downloaded a trial of Entrance (today) and when I tried to run it I was told the trial version had expired! Ummmm..... :) The trial version is indeed timed out because of a release snafu, and it is taking some time to get the new versions up there. Figure 11:30AM (Tuesday, June 30th) before we are back on track.... more »
