Subject: Data Compare Comments
Hi,

Setting the "datacomp_sync_comments" element to false in a data
compare project doesn't appear to work.

Hi,

Can you provide an example that would demonstrate this issue (e.g.
CREATE TABLE script on both sides)? Also, what database are you using?

The problem is with the data compare, not schema compare. With
datacomp_sync_comments set to false, the following is produced:

--
-- Generated by DB Solo 3.7.4 on Thu Oct 08 10:34:46 EST 2009
-- This script will modify the SOURCE database to be in sync with the
destination database
-- Source: [DB1] [S_OWNER]
-- Destination: [DB2] [S_OWNER]
--

UPDATE "S_OWNER"."UI_RESOURCE" SET "VERSION" = TO_DATE('2009-10-7
17:57:24','YYYY-MM-DD HH24:MI:SS') WHERE "ID" = 3;

We are using Oracle databases.

This should be fixed now, please download the new version from
dbsolo.com/preview. Also, this can now be modified in the UI on the
Sync Script Options screen.
