I am testing out the commandline tool and it works nicely. However, I
was wondering if it returns an errorcode if something goes wrong. For
example, I had a project set to use disk based temp space for
comparison and a lot of errors were thrown because there was not
enough disk space. However, the tool completed and generated a data
diff sql file. Unfortunately, many of the tables were missing and at
the end of the process it did not appear that an error code was
thrown. Is an error code thrown from the commandLine, and if yes,
will it get triggered if one runs out of disk space for the temp
table?

Thanks,
Alex

Sounds like this condition is not detected correctly. Typically the
command line tool will return an error code (1) if something goes
wrong in the comparison process. If you can reproduce the error,
please send your error.log file to the support email address to get
this fixed.

No errors get logged to the error.log file. In the docs there is also
something about a compare.log file but I don't see that anywhere.

I tested the script with another error (no dataCompare file) and it
properly generated an error. I'll send an email to the support email
address.

Thanks.
