Subject: Data Compare on sybase
When i do a Data compare on sybase, the engine appears to encapsulate
all tables and fields with '[]'.
some of the fields I have in the schema are at the maximum 28 bites in
length. When the compare adds the brackets this violates the length
restrictions and the compare failes.

Is the any way to disable this feature in Data compare?

There is an option that you can set for the server connection when you
select it in the Schema Browser. It's named 'Use brackets []  with
identifiers'. Let me know if that doesn't help.
