Please consider signing two online petitions to strengthen the public option:
If you haven't already: Doctors for America Petition (This physicians' group would like patients (that's all of us!) to stand with them; if you are not a health care provider just check the box "community member.").

Sat, Dec 12, 5:00 PM, Greene Cty Democratic Party Holiday Party with Silent Auction and Adopt a Family Donations, Greene Cty Dem HQ, 87 East Main Street, Xenia, 45385 Link: http://www.gcdp.org/ The need is great for holiday items and cash donations for the eight adopted families. Donations can also be made before and after the Holiday Party. More information at the link.
4. Sun, Dec 13, 7:00 to 8:30 PM, Peace Hall, behind Peace Museum - 208 W Monument Ave, Dayton. Rally with Speakers in support of the U.N. Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen. Featured speakers include: Jake Schlachter, Executive Director of the Dayton International Peace Museum, Sr. Paula Gonzalez of Interfaith Power & Light, and Rev. 5. Fri, Dec 18, 5:30 to 6:00 PM, Dayton OFA December Community Service, - Donations for Homeless At St. Vincent De Paul Gateway Shelter, 120 W. Apple Street, Dayton 45402 (near Miami Valley Hospital). Items needed: Baby items-diapers, formula, sippy cups. Any food. Paper plates, cups, coffee. Toiletries. Monetary donations. For more information or to have your items picked up ahead of time contact Sherry 513-932-0202 or Pat 937-885-5155.
