Will you join us in a candlelight vigil this coming Tuesday, Dec. 8th? The event is being organized by Rev. Beth Holten from Greater Dayton Christian Connections. As physicians and concerned citizens, we should all join the voices of the community of faith in solidarity and echo the wishes of all for a better healthcare system for all. Please, join us and others from Doctors for America for this important event. Every year, 45,000 individuals cannot get access to medical care and have to die needlessly, and similarly 18,000 children die because they happen to be born less fortunate than others who happen to have better off parents and better opportunity. The children are the future of this nation. To allow this tragedy to happen and to remain in a position of neutrality and inaction in this moment of moral crisis is completely unacceptable and inexcusable. Please take 30 minutes of your time to join us on Tuesday Dec. 8th, when many other similar events are going to happen simultaneously throughout the nation.

CANDLELIGHT PRAYER VIGIL
A Service of Remembrance and Hope to remember the 45,000 who die each year for lack of health care
Bring your candles and flashlights and raise your voices in hope for reform that creates a health care future that includes everyone and works well for all of us.
We will pray for moral leadership from Senators Voinovich and Brown, Representatives Turner, Boehner and Austria, and President Obama. We will call for reform that reflects our values and religious teachings and results in a system of health care that is inclusive, accessible, affordable and accountable.
