Did folks see the invite to participate in a STEM Fair on MeetUp? Here is
a link to the conversation -
http://www.meetup.com/d8ndiode/messages/boards/thread/25390382/#79430192.
What do people think about this? Depending on when it is, and what we
could take with us, I think doing outreach activities like this is a good
thing.

You are right, it is a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, &
Math) fair. Of course, when I read steam in your email, Rockett, I thought
you meant it was a steam powered fair (as in boiling water). I got a
replay on the meetup message boards from Cheyenne, and I think this sounds
like a cool program.
The fair is Sept 15-16, which is not a good time for me. Is anyone else
interested in going and running a booth? Does anyone have any projects
that are far enough along to show off at the booth (oh how I wish the AL
furnace was further along.... hmm, I bet there will be outside areas, I
wonder if the charcoal version of the furnace could be rebuilt with a new
liner, etc and be demo'ed there???). Cheyenne is very interested in
hearing back from us, so let me know asap about availability, and projects.
