DD,
With our recent blessing of new members, I think it is time we do an inventory of our hand tools and pull out the christmas wish list
and look at getting some additional tools for the space for wood working, metalworking and other venues..

I would be willing to generaate an excel spreadsheet of the tools we currently have and poll members for tools we need to help them with their
projects. When I used the table saw the other day. we searched for a tape measure and combination square and did not find  them readily available
even though they have been available before. This shortcoming is not good -  to keep members happy we should try to be as fully equpped as possible.

Adding more tools the space adds capability to do more fun and interesting projects.

I will try and have an inventory list by septembers meeting

John,

I think this is a good idea.  And just to let you know, the square and tape measure you saw were probably mine.  I have a tool box I bring with me to Dayton Diode that has the tools I often wind up needing when I am working there (and a tape measure and square are pretty common tools I need).

Later,

 -J
