  So it turns out, the issue is with SketchUp version 8, both the google and &lt;br&gt; trimble versions. It draws the the scale/legend, displays node values, etc &lt;br&gt; fine but not the actual colored grid. &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;I installed SketchUp 7 and everything seems to be working find in 7. The &lt;br&gt; su2ds manual says SketchUp version 7 or higher, but seems like it is not

  Thanks for the quick response Christoph. The two models I&#39;m having issues &lt;br&gt; with, have 338 and 228 sensors each, spaced at 3&#39;x3&#39;. &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;Hopefully I&#39;ll find a resolution soon, will keep you all posted. &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;Ramana.

  Hello all, &lt;br&gt; I&#39;m having troublerunning Daysim. I&#39;m using 64-bit Windows 7 Professional. &lt;br&gt; I installed JAVA with the 3.1e Setup, and yet, when I start Daysim, there &lt;br&gt; is a command prompt popup which runs and nothing happens after it closes. &lt;br&gt; Any idea why this may be happening?   Dear All &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;I am looking for papers/research for DA thresholds related to good indoor environmental quality that can be referenced in our South African version of LEED and was wondering if anyone might be able to point me in the right direction? &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;The Green Building Council of South Africa is considering using Daylight Autonomy as an indicator for their Daylight Credit for the Greenstar SA Public and Education Building Tool – our version of LEED. They currently use DF. The credit falls under the Indoor and Environmental Quality section and so is about the positive impact of daylight on the occupants rather than energy savings. They have a separate glare related credit and so this does not have to be considered within this credit.

  Hello, &lt;br&gt; I have got a question regarding using Ecotect in combination with Daysim for annual DGP calculation. &lt;br&gt; I am using the Ecotect Radiance/Daysim exporter. &lt;br&gt; In Ecotect, I&#39;ve created multiple views, by placing cameras in the model. &lt;br&gt; Using the wizard, it is possible to select these cameras. However when I export this to daysim, the DGP view file is missing.

  Dear Dolf, &lt;br&gt; Radiance uses 0.3 0.59 and 0.11 to weigh the RGB values. These numbers roughly correspond to the luminous response curve of the human eye. &lt;br&gt; Daysim operates with a great scene, i.e. all materials are converted from color into grey using the weighing functions above before gen_dc is used to calculate the daylight coefficients. If you want to modify these parameters in your colored scene, you could change the relevant code in radfiles2daysim.exe. The source code can be found under C:\Daysim\src\radfiles2daysim.

  I believe DAYSIM uses the .dc files to calculate daylight factor based on &lt;br&gt; a CIE Overcast sky rather than the Perez skies used for the annual &lt;br&gt; illuminance calculation. The negative person in me says that DF is not a &lt;br&gt; very good metric to compare buildings, so if you&#39;re re-calculating metrics &lt;br&gt; from the .ill files, maybe not much is lost.
