One problem I have had with computer repairs has been the Torx screwdrivers - I believe in the 1990s manufactures thought Torx to be the domain of official repair persons.   

Sears and other now have the Torx 6/8/10/15/20 drivers but some manufactures use Torx 9 screws that I only have found at Berlands, 600 Oak Creek Dr, Lombard.  (Don't go there if you are a tool collector like I, not an easy place to stay in control and buy only one tool.)

The Torx 8 works in the Torx 9 screws but could strip out the stars and become up the creek without a wrench.
