| On our church website we are now considering to put photos of children. What is the best way to protect them? A persmission slip from the parents does not prevent the criminal from lifting the photo. It seems a watermark is unsightly, or if it is transparent, how can it prevent a person from lifting the photo or cropping a face? What software do you recommend for making the photo locked or secure? Any tips appreciated! Thanks so much. Marilyn Peretti 515 N. | Thanks Mary Ann. Oh, yes, we would never use names or addrresses, or email addresses. It's the faces that could be cropped and used for illicit purposes, so I would like to lock the photos if possible. Are you working with websites and children's photos on them? Do you use only a permission slip from parents, with no special security on the photo itself? Marilyn --- On Mon, 11/23/09, Daugherty Mary Ann <mdaugh...@comcast.net> wrote: |
| Oh, thanks so much Jim. This is heavy stuff, and you have made it quite clear. I'll pass on this info. I can check with the hosting company, but as you say, that is no guarantee of misuse. thanks. Marilyn --- On Tue, 11/24/09, Jim Rietz <jri...@gmail.com> wrote: |

| Thanks Ed, I appreciate your input. And we missed you last meeting. That bright Eric gave a super program too! I'm glad I didn't miss it. Your ideas here with size and resolution are good ones. Marilyn --- On Tue, 11/24/09, Ed Danley <Edwa...@danleys.org> wrote: |
