Dear Dashers

I have two guaranteed entries to give away for the BUPA London 10,000,
organised by the London Marathon on Bank Holiday Monday, May 26. But there
is a catch! I need you to volunteer.

As we do such a good job on the London Marathon's Lucozade Sport drinks
station, I have been asked to provide a team at the finish of the BUPA
London 10,000. This will be a very different job from the drinks station -
we will be responsible for guiding all the finishers through the finish
funnels, for taking off the timing chips and for directing the runners
through the finish area. I need 40 volunteers please.

As a little incentive, I have two guaranteed entries that I will give to two
of the people who offer to help. All the volunteers' names will go into a
draw, and I will pick out the two winners. Only problem is, if I only have
40 sign up, and I give two of these an entry into the race, I will need the
two winners to find replacements for me on the team.

I know that this is yet another request for volunteers, but that is the
nature of sport. Events could not happen without us. So why should you help
this time?

The Pros

-          It's not too long a day - coach will leave Slough at 7am and we
should be finished by about 12.30pm
-          We will be positioned on The Mall in the shadow of Buckingham
