Unfortunately for personal reasons I am resigning as the club webmaster but
it's been great fun - yes really :-P

Club Committee Meeting

The next club committee meeting will take place at the cricket club bar on Monday 7th December at 7.30. Non-committee members are free to attend, although they are unable to vote on any matters arising. If you do intend to come along can I ask that you let me know in advance just in case we reach capacity in the bar - I think it is 80 people (well there might be a sudden rush.) Club members are also free to ask for items to be added to the agenda for meetings and any items for inclusion should be with me by Friday 28th November. (That goes for committee members as well.)

I have pulled together championship templates for next year.

Can someone kindly advise on the required number of races for the
championships (age graded and male/female). Unless of course this needs
discussing at the next committee meeting.

Sunday Run

This Sunday there will be a group of us running in the Great Park,
starting from the Stag Meadow football ground at 9am. Various routes are
available, with the commonly run routes starting at 9 miles. Which

Even though Reading is not a club championship event, it is a good training run for those wishing to run London. A large number of Dashers ran it last year, even those not running London.

I have been advised that it will fill up in the next month.

Sandhurst XC run

Details for the next cross country race.
It is being held by Sandhurst Joggers on the 22nd November, at 11am
It's a new course, but is run over similar terrain and should not have the large puddle at the end of the race.
This is the first club championship for 2009/2010 season.
Copy map attached, and the postal code for the nat nav is GU17 9UD, but the site will be marked with yellow runner signs.

I know it feel that the season has just finished, (like football, the new season is quickly upon us) Here are the club events for the rest of 2009 and 2010.
As you can see the next XC race is a championship race.
I am certain the new ladies captain would like a full ladies team again ( no pressure Jo G, but see you there !)

At the cross country this morning, the chairman of Burnham Joggers told
me that the Cliveden Cross Country on December 28th is nearly sold out -
less than 50 places left. So if you were planning this as your
post-Christmas pick-me-up and haven't yet entered then can I suggest you
