Datchet Dashers Membership 2010 - Subscriptions due by the end of January

I hope you are looking forward to another great year of running with the Datchet Dashers.

Club Subscriptions are unchanged again, and are now due by the end of January, otherwise you will be asked to pay the full joining fee of £25.
Racing Member - £20. Entitles you to enter ARC and UKA races with an affiliation discount

Details for the next Cross Country race at Tadley
Date Sunday 10th usual start time of 11am
Please remember to wear club kit and to bring pins in case there are numbers.
Cost is free for dashers, but £3.00 for guest
If you can run, please let me know, so l can update the list. However l can not make this event, so would appreciate if anyone can "do the numbers" on the day.

Training tomorrow

Dear dashers
Training resumes tomorrow night with a team relay. We shall probably use Alexander Gardens although if the coach Park is clear we may see if that is suitable. Chris Hunt will be leading the session and we shall organise teams of two and shall try to mix the teams so you may get to meet someone from the club you have not spoken with before. We will do the drills for a warm up and I would ask the experienced runners to take a group of about six and organise them to do the drills. So I would ask Joanna, Mandy, Lucy, Joanne, Julie, Steve, Ross, Claude along with Chris and myself to act as group leaders and supervisors. As it will be cold we will ask everyone to be attentive and cooperative so that we can get things organised quickly. Please dress sensibly with layers to put back on after training.

Party Tickets

Hi Guys
Thank you to all those people who have emailed me asking for me to hold tickets for the party on Friday 15th. I have held tickets for everyone who got in touch and these will need to be paid for this week.
Please can you collect and pay for your ticket/s from Colin on Tuesday this week or from me on Thursday this week. We won't have change, so please have the correct money (£15 per ticket) to keep things simple.

The first cross country race of 2010.
A chance to clear body and mind after the excesses of the new year !!!!
Copy map attached, the postal code for the sat nav: RG41 5BG
The race is free for Dashers, but as usual £3.00 for guests.
Usual start time of 11am
They will be issuing discs at the end of the race, so no need for pins. Please remember to hand in the disc to me at the end of the race.

Reading XC/Party

The Reading XC race is on Sunday, 3rd January - can you let Colin know if you are interested in racing. He'll be sending out relevant info via email prior to the event, but would be good to get an idea how many Dashers are planning on running. As always, the more the merrier!
As club running is cancelled tonight, please can you drop me an email if you would like a ticket/tickets held for the party on the 15th. A few people have already contacted me about doing this, so please can you get back to me at your earliest to avoid disappointment.

CLIVEDEN RACE ON MONDAY 28th December

Please be aware that we may have to cancel the Cliveden Run for the first time ever. The Estate has suffered quite a lot of snow but the main problem is the sheet ice in the car parks.

The weather forecast is for somewhat milder weather so I am hoping that this will melt the ice in time and the National Trust will allow us to go ahead.

Sunday Run

Hi All
The Sunday run will be starting as normal at 9am from the Stag Meadow
football ground off St Leonard's Road in Windsor. Regular distances
are 9 & 11 miles, but longer options may be available - depends what
people want to do on the day.
