Hi
I am about to relocate to Richmond from Leeds, Yorkshire, and am
looking for crewing (or as helm) opportunities in order to stay on the
water and make some new friends in the area.
I can provide a pretty detailed "sailing CV" to post on the club's
crew/helm website but in summary I started sailing when I was 13 and
now have 25 yrs of racing experience from dinghies to inshore yacht
and at club, open and National championships as both helm and crew. I
have just sold my classic Flying 15 having helmed that for the last 5
seasons and also crew, for open meetings and Championships, in a
Flying 15 which based at Parkstone Yacht Club in Poole. Happy to sail
in any type of boat with anyone although I tend to suit the larger
dinghies, I am 6 foot 6" and weigh just over 17 stone!!
Please feel free to post my contact details and I will be available
for weekends from Saturday 12 September. I would also be grateful if
you could let me have the contact details for someone in the Flying 15
class so I can make a direct approach to that class.
Many thanks
David Culpan
