Boxing Day Bottle Race

11 boats I think (race officer should really know!) turned up, along
with a fairly warm and pleasant strong breeze to take part in the
Boxing Day Bottle Race.
Once the FF / Cat pontoon had been reconnected to the beach and the
race team had braved the submerged beach pontoons (water coming in
fast!) racing got underway at 12.15. Amazingly all 10 (ish) boats
remembered the and its many points of sail and the 50 (ish) minute
race was eventually won by Julian Shawyer in a Laser.
Look forward to seeing a few more out at 12 for the Pink Elephant Race
on New Years Day.
