Thanks, Marcel. I couldn't actually read the georeferencing data; either
they'd all load one on top of the other, or created a crazy quilt with
random gaps.
If you're looking for newer air photos at no cost and unrestricted, the
USGS's Large Scale Aerial Imagery covers a lot of southern Ontario (and
anywhere near the US border), and is shot at 1 foot/pixel and is 2008 or
newer. The WMS is a bit slow, and only works if you're zoomed in really
close, but I've verified it against many surveyed landmarks, and it's
pretty good. Details page:
