I would like to help trumpet the mission of DP. I'm a blogger. I'm
curious about the details. I (obviously, if I know that this thread
exists) follow DP as closely as I can.
Can you email me a condensed version of what exactly DP needs/wants
from bloggers? Ideally, I wont just get emailed a link to a thread on
this google group (I get most of the emails anyhow). I've tried in
the past, with various immediate intentions, to figure out how to get
involved with DP, but have found myself often in the middle of vast
threads, which are largely irrelevant to me. Perhaps this is the
first thing I would blog about (how confusing and non-intuitive DP's
User Interface is for people like me). Perhaps I shall blog about
this anyhow.
I can contribute a lot to DP, in labor at the very least. Currently I
get between 3,000-10,000 hits per month, which isn't bad for the
average nerd/artist/blogger that I am. Google seems to like me.
I love the premise of DataPortabilty. I'm a big advocate of re-usable
data. I'm a big advocate of Users.
Write me back directly if you think I might be a good candidate. We
can discuss. I'm currently at andrewapeterson.wordpress.com but this
would be the perfect incentive to just move to my own site.
Good luck, DP People, and thanks for all you're doing!
