I'm not sure about time frames quite yet - I will let others chime in there.

In regard to why we 'need' money. Money makes the world go around. Stickers,
Shirts, Banners, Flyers, Flights, Hotels, Cabs, Sponsoring events, Part-time
project manager wage etc etc.
