Hi,

I will start spreading the word about DP in Latin America. I will
start my journey teaching how important is to make this happen, people
need to change their vision about social networking and data.

I will be starting in Argentina next June. Is there anybody from this
side of the world already working on this?

Regards
Vic

Excellent - I've been thinking recently how we lack active members in
Latin America.

If you join the evangelism chat room, you will get to know some of the
core members within the DataPortability Project - and you can refer ot
them when you have questions in real time.

Of course you are always welcome to e-mail me or skype me
(elias.bizannes). Good to see you guys stepping up.

Hopefully, operationally will be be tweaking a few things in the
coming weeks as we release our new governance model (like a
participants list which will be using for voting) and can better
assess where people are understand where resources are needed and what
we can rely on.

Again - I just want to note to everyone here that I recognise the
Project is currently very confusing and I am actively working on a
solution with others to simplify communications & our organisation, to
increase transparency with what's happening. This mailing list has
over a 1200 people as part of our community, and yet only about 10%
are involed in the action groups where the work is performed - which
has become clear of late is due to confusion on how to get involved
rather than any other factor. To be continued...

Great then Elias,

I will join the public chat, fell free to contact me as needed.
I'm here to help spreading the word about this project from this side of the globe.

Gustavo, thanks for your response, I will contact you directly to start working in Argentina asap.

There are other factors, only "no right answer".. per --

note [interesting] http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jon_Postel (contained within above)

and, "there's a crack in everything"..(www.azlyrics.com/lyrics/leonardcohen/anthem.html)
in light of that.. we're doing great.. the perfect "DataPortability" is in our hearts, not here..
thus, feel free.. :-) /ac.
