Our Next DataPortability local Meeting in San Francisco will take
place on Thursday March 20th at 6pm.
David Recorden @ SixApart has been kind enough to arrange for the DP
group to have access to the Six Apart Offices for this month's
meeting:
Six Apart Offices
548 4th Street
San Francisco, California
We will start at 6pm PST and go through 9pm PST. Feedback from the
last meeting was that we did not have enough time to 'mingle' with
each other so by extending the time we can.
Please add Agenda Items by replying to this post:
-We can review what we have done to date, how everyone can continue to
contribute and discuss any gaps that we can all work towards filling.
-We would like to see each Action Group present on activities to date
and discuss what resources and commitments are needed to further those
objectives
I'd like to have the opportunity to introduce our OpenFile API proposal (http://groups.google.com/group/openfile). A quick 5 minute intro and a short time for questions.

The link above is not publicly available, it requires membership in your group.

I would like to make a request to local SF based organizations (or
those that might be visiting!) that are part of the existing standards
to possibly conduct a discussion during our meeting around the work
they have been doing and how the DP community can support those
initiatives working together with them. This could be recorded as part
of the Portable Data Research Project that is ongoing. More
information here:
http://groups.google.com/group/dataportability-public/browse_thread/t...
Please post here or contact me for additional information. thanks
I'm passing thru SF, 13th-14th Mar, on way back to New Zealand. I can
talk about how government (or at least our govt) thinks about
dataportability, online identity, privacy and authentication.
