Method --- repository is only set in the context if a block is
provided.
The line "Repository.context << current_repository" returns an
empty array every time hence .. a new instance of repository is
created thus instantiating Identity_Map hash

def self.repository(*args) # :yields: current_context

gems.datamapper.org is no more. You'll probably want to remove it
from your gem sources.

I have the same problem. I have updated my gem sources to the the url
of datamapper. I am unable to remove that URI form the gem sources.
On any install of Gem I get the error 404 fetching [link]

There's a ~/.gemrc or something similar. Edit it there. I *think*
that's enough -- I know I did a bunch of stuff when this happened to
me, but I think that should suffice.

Hi everyone.

I read the the gem repository for datamapper is going away. I must be
completely blanking, but I can not seem to detach from it. Any
advice?

It's not a big undertaking. It just needs to be done consistently
against all the existing drivers. Here's basically what would need to
be called when the command#execute_* methods are called:

I will try to get back to doing some work to where DO just generates
dynamic statements (and forget backing using JDBC PreparedStatements),
which should get a basic 'proof-of-concept' solution up and running
sooner rather than later. This is something that I could target for
early August, provided I talk my way out of a few other projects!

It's not that I love Hoe. It's that I hate manually releasing all
those gems. It's not maintainable. If there's an alternative, and
someone wants to patch it, I'm fine with that.

Again, crossposting to both DM and merb mailing lists :)
I've almost done with merb-extlib => extlib merge on a branch in
extlib repository. The blocker is unconfigured hoe which does nasty
things (like packing stuff under .git).
Some people in Merb community think we can find an easier way to
release gems to rubyforge.

I haven't myself.

The eventual API for DO will include named Parameters with Type
information. So continuing down the ADO-alike route.
