Greetings fellow 'Mappers.

With the impending releases of DataMapper 0.11 and *1.0*, i'd like to kick of some user outreach, particularly to library maintainers to help people get up to speed with the changes that have gone in since 0.10.  To that end, we're tentatively planning on hosting at least one (maybe two) Q&A sessions on IRC during the first week of May (likely Thursday the 6th).

What will determine whether we do one Q&A session or two, is how much response we get, and what time zones people live in.  If we only do one, it will likely be around 19:00 CEST / 18:00 BST / 1pm EDT / 10am PST.  If we do two, an additional one will take place approximately 7pm Pacific time.

If you'd like to join in could you please +/-1 the times, and which session you'd be able to make?

happy hacking,

Hey Yehuda,

I definitely would like to make this a regular occurrence!  The release process i think has been a bit hectic for everyone (which is why we haven't talked about it further yet).  I'd like to do another one this month, somewhere between the 21st and 30th.  There's a lot of stuff to discuss, how the release went, questions people have about the release, what we're focused now after the release, and how people can help out if they're interested.

I'll start up another thread on the subject for the June Q&A :)

Cheers,

-Ted
